Exhibitions
The FOTOGALERIE WIEN currently exhibits seven shows a year including: one Werkschau, one Solo, three exhibitions dedicated to an annual theme of focus, and two other exhibitions curated independent of the theme of focus and Werkschau
Theme of Focus: exhibitions dedicated to a specific topic in photography, takes place throughout the year, includes one catalogue compiling the artists’ contributions and summarizing the exhibitions at the end of the year
Solo: This series of exhibitions is to serve as a platform and springboard to artists who are at the beginning of their career, once a year
Werkschau: a retrospective for a well-known Austrian photography artist,once a year, accompanied by a catalogue
Exchange exhibition (dedicated to the annual with galleries abroad)

WERKSCHAU XXIX: KARL-HEINZ KLOPF

The works shown by Karl-Heinz Klopf deal with issues such as urbanisation, globalisation or digital and media entanglements and are contrasted with the exemplary social space of the individual.
